Making Homemade Applesauce

Balloon Rockets

This group is trying to figure out how to make the balloon travel along the string.

Being the person in charge of blowing up the balloon was very cool.

We had to work together to figure out how to make this balloon travel.

Each group had lots of great ideas.

They knew they had to use the plastic bag but it wasn't easy to figure out how.

Team work was a huge part of this experiment,

Here are some pictures from the class flying our napkin parachutes out on the playground. After making our parachutes we wanted to see if they could fly. The kids tried them from the ground and then we got to go up by the slides. We found they could fly further from higher up because more air molecules were caght in our parachutes.
